Founded in 1954, Flowflex Components Ltd remains a family business with manufacturing facilities in Buxton, Derbyshire, responsible for designing, engineering and manufacturing high quality non-ferrous fittings, valves and components.


Flowflex approached Jones Electric (Doncaster) Ltd (JE) with expectation to both reduce their energy bills and reduce their carbon footprint. JE conducted Structural Survey, made analysis of consumption of energy at the site and designed a solar system. JE acquired connection to the National Grid on behalf of Flowflex,


The build took 4 weeks to install the complete system which was documented by drone video footage. Ongoing real-time shows the PV system is performing as expected
